when should I come??

we are now open 7 days a week!! Monday through Thursday 8-4, Friday 8-6:30, Saturday 8-2, and SUNDAY 9 - 2. The bakery is open every day, but there are more offerings towards the end of the week since those are our busiest days. Friday night is the only night we do our wood fired pizzas since they take all week to prepare. Although we do walk ins for the pizzas pre-ordering on our website is the best bet to ensure we don't sell out. We also do a huge breakfast on Saturday and Sunday with a ton of fun sourdough pastries, sourdough biscuits and gravy, sourdough french toast, etc. So, if you are making the trip a Friday night/Saturday/Sunday morning combo is great! We also have a fantastic, year-round farmer's market in town on Saturday mornings from 8am - 12pm.

 

can I come to MSAK whenever?

our storefront on cannon street is open from 8-4pm on monday - thursday; friday; 8-6pm, 8 - 2pm on saturday, and 9-2pm on Sunday

why am I getting a shipping fee?

by default, it goes to shipping since that’s what most online businesses do. at checkout, just put in your email at #1, then at #2 click the tab for pick-up. that easy

so…what exactly do you guys do?

that’s a fantastic question…and not one with an easy answer! at the MSAK we do lots of things, and have a crazy-cool story that is always evolving. we started with sourdough, but now flaunt an entire display of homemade butter, sauces, etc (+ local eggs & honey) and make 100% homemade pizzas on friday nights plus a HUGE breakfast on saturday mornings

how long does your sourdough ferment for?

The mothers/levains for our sourdough breads ferment for 12 hours. Once mixed, our sourdough breads ferment for 6-10 hours depending on the breads. We make sure to reach a pH of 4.5 or below which is the ideal window for maximum detoxification, safety, and nourishment

do you ship?

yes we do ship! Just our non-refrigerated items now as we are working on figuring our the whole dry ice thing to ship frozen and refrigerated products.

do I have to preorder?

nope! we definitely encourage (and favor) preorders, but we are open from monday-saturday for you to stop on in and grab some goodies.

how do I order pizza?

pizza orders open every monday at 12pm, so set an alarm and get ready to purchase a few pies on monday to enjoy friday evening.

are there nuts in the facility?

yes, we are now making peanut butter so there are nuts in the facility.

do you do special orders/events?

can I pay in cash?

yes! we accept cash, credit, and a friendly barter :)

do the products freeze?

yes! all our products freeze very well wrapped tightly in plastic wrap. we suggest you cut our bread products into the slices you like, then freeze for easy grabbing and enjoying.
