Who doesn’t love some good, local, homemade sausage crumbled on pizza or with a side of eggs??

After taking this class, you’ll be able to make your own sausage in your home kitchen!

We will begin class addressing the following topics:

  • Why making sausage at home is safer, more delicious and more nourishing than anything you can possibly buy

  • How to find, select and care for the high quality meat, fat, casing and other ingredients

  • Sausage making equipment

  • Recipe development

Then we will head into the kitchen for hands-on teaching and learning. Together we will making Italian Sausage and Breakfast Sausage by going the following steps together:

  • break down a full pork shoulder

  • scale and prep herbs and spices

  • cube and season meat

  • grind meat

  • prep casings

  • stuff sausage

  • cook and eat sausage!
